Starfleet Special Task Force (SSTF)
Starfleet Intelligence is divided into 2
branches, Starfleet Secret Operations (SSO)
and Starfleet Special Task Force (SSTF).
The SSTF is a Special Forces branch within
Starfleet, dedicated to "safeguarding
the Federation against serious internal threats".
When Federation members violate the Federation
charter, or if there are hints of strife
between Federation members, the SSTF is called
in to deal with it, achieving peace through
a mix of diplomacy, military force, and intelligence
gathering. SSTF members are usually intensely
loyal to the Federation and idealistic in
the extreme. There is a tradition for SSTF
members to renounce citizenship to there
home planet and proclaim "the Federation
is my home." This is not legally binding
but the oath does emphasize the impartiality
that is one of the most highly valued qualities
of the SSTF.
In order to sim you must first download an Internet Realy Chat (IRC) Client. Click on one of the links below wich will lead you to a site where you can download the recent versions of IRC Clients. The most popular clients that are available today are mIRC and pIRCh. Click on one of the links below download client and then follow the Instructions at the bottom of the page explaining how to connect to the IRC.

Now that you've downloaded one of the above clients you can either add the list of servers below connect to one of them or by typing this in the main server window: /server followed by one of the servers listed below. Once connected type /join #USS-Raven or join #Federation for some friendly FSG Conversation. Sim time is Tuesdays at 8:00EST.
